Vikash is a full-time architect, freelance visualiser and avid photographer. He completed his Masters in Architecture at the prestigious University of Cape Town at the end of 2019. His thesis encompassed the adaptive reuse of an underutilised broadcasting Building in Seapoint, Cape Town. Extracts of his thesis can be found here.

Vikash has been featured by DesignTimes with "some of South Africa's promising young architects" while being awarded the SAIA Future Architects Bursary for his Masters in 2019 due to academic excellence. Prior to this, he was the recipient of best overall student for 3 years during his studies while being awarded Deans Merit Awards.

 

 

This site expresses Vikash's interest and passions in architecture, photography and the creative field in general. The site includes extracts from his studies, ranging in complexity and scale, graduate work and part-time visualisation work, which is constantly developing with innovation and excitement. His photography work is a self-expression of what captures his eye and intrigues his interests. 

 

 

Vikash has experience in both small and large architectural practises, in Cape Town, South Africa. His professional experience ranges from conceptual design development, master planning, co-ordination layouts, construction detail drawings and renderings/visualisations.

Photography wise, aside from starting out as a passionate hobby, it progressed into freelance commissions for events such as the Synergy Live Music Festival,  Steve Aoki and Nicky Romero Tour in Cape Town, Pacha Ibiza NYE Party as well as a few local shoots. He has also had feature images published digitally by House and Leisure.
